Default RE: RT Hammer turbine : Anyone ?

ET

The price in Europe from the Jet Hammer website is 1525 Euros, at the current Sterling / Euro exchange rate that is £1,050 (including all taxes) for the 80 and the 130 is 1900 Euros which is £1,292 in Sterling. The export prices are 1315 Euros and 1637 Euros respectively I am not sure what the Euro / Dollar exchange rate is but I think it is around $1.30 to the Euro this would give $ prices of around $1,710 for the 80 and $2,130 for the 130 if you imported them yourself from the manufacturer excluding any US import taxes. I hope this answers your query.

A Jetcat P80 is currently around £1,350 in the UK and a P120 is £1,900. Savings on the Hammers are £300 and £600 respectively.

It would appear that the turbines are better value in Europe than in the US if you are going by the Altecare prices. This may, of course , reflect their profit margin.

IMHO these are seriously cheap turbines and are certainly worthy of consideration. It will be interesting to see who bites first!

Best regards

John
