Default RE: The Scorpion Arrives

Malcolm

I will not argue with you on the speed issue, with or without bypass, but the lack of inlet ducting will certainly cause internal turbulence and buffeting inside the fusealge. On models like the Eurosport a bypass does make the model fly more smoothly and internal buffeting has been blamed on more than one Eurosport airframe failure in flight.Ie blowing off the hatch and then the wing seams.
.
I fully understand the KISS principle and am in agreement with that philosophy, unfortunately I am still also philosophising about my kit as it still appears to be "Lost in France" to quote the old song[:@]

No idea why Eicas wanted to start ANOTHER thread the Scorpion, I will only be posting on this one. Have you got your kits yet? Maybe you could send me one from the US it might get here quicker!

Best regards

John
