Yup--the gyro will definitely make it easier.
I do suggest that you fly a little without it at first, so that you will understand the BCPP 3-in-1 mixer system, and so that you will appreciate how much easier it is with the new gyro.
I was gonna put an Align gyro on mine but the LHS couldn't find one so I got the EFlite model G90 instead--works just fine, once I figured out that my tail motor was weak and needed replacement.
The tail motor is going to be much slower than a CP tail rotor-servo combo so the bird will never hold perfectly through radical power changes, but it's a lot better than with just the stock 3-in-1 gyro. A dual tail motor installation or the GWS direct-drive tail motor+prop will help keep the bird on track even better.
Be sure to follow the setup directions in the BCPP manual and the gyro instruction sheet! There is some gyro disinfo floating around re the BCPP that will only confuse you if you believe it.
The Telebee gyro is identical to the Align unit
AFAIK only cheaper, and both are similar to the G90, but the G90 has digital servo capability as well.
