Default RE: OS Plug on Saito 56

ORIGINAL: speedster 1919

Here we go again---PLATNUM was mixed in the wire of a glow plug for longevity and oxidizes less when mixed in the wire. The very first glow plugs didn't have a speck of platnum and worked fine but were shorter in life span. The price of some glow plugs reflect the amount of platnum in the metalergy............

So you don't believe that platinum acts as a catalyst and helps keep the plug element hot?
