Hi Harry. Thanks for that. I 'fess, that's a huge RPM disparity, and the reverse result generally of my taching experiences between those particular brands.

It's been my experience that MA square tips usually lag behind the more efficiently shaped and tipped APC or Bolly props of the equivalent indicated diameter and pitch by anything up to 1500rpm (static) rather than the reverse your figures indicate. Admittedly, it's been a while since I fitted MA props to anything. Perhaps I'd best re-examine?
