I did a lot of research on tires when I had my rock crawler. I always thought the moabs were bigger than mashers.... I ran mashers on my rock crawler. Regardless of what tire you get you should tape the insides to keep from ballooning. The tires seem to have about the same overall diameter (3mm difference) but the Masher is about 3/16" (5mm) wider. Which means it is only going to stick out on one side of the rim 2.5mm more than the moab. Thats only .098"

of course the mashers are going to last longer, but the moab are WAY lower profile and are going to help you a lot with your turning and accelerating... the m2k's are high and bulky, and if you hit a turn the wrong way or too fast, you're gonna flip or not be able to make the turn...
for all around I run Pro-Line Dirt Hawgs all the way around, or moab's, for racing I run bow ties, and for going to glamis, I run sand paws, lol, but that's only once or twice a year
