1. Is this a rare kit?
No. Sig still produces them.
2. Is it worth building?
Absolutely!
3. How does it fly/go?
Terrific. Its smaller and faster than its bigger brothers
the Kougar and King Kobra. With a strong motor its a
rocket ship.
One note...the Kobra has a built up wing while the Kougar
and King Kobra have foam core wings.

You still get kits at your LHS? there is only one store here that still sells kits often, and they are leaving.
the other two stores only stock ARF, ARC and RTF really.l Maybe I can order things in.
It is an ugly predicament I'm in isnt it?
