I was also a bit astonished by the negative feedback received about the other thread. I think we all can agree that this is a very stupid behaviour and should not be rewarded by any means. Still it's a joy to watch because nothing happened (I felt bad when I saw that B-52 crash and knowing the story behind it) About it beeing dangerous I think theses guys knew perfectly what they were doing, it was prepared and well executed. Normally you would stabilize the airspeed and the pitch then fine trim the nose up so that you have to constantly apply down pressure on the yoke to maintain level flight so that if anything happen you just remove any stick input and the plane goes up. It considerably shortens the whole reaction time. But the guys really were low on that pass geez !!
