Fun indeed. Frustrating also. Starting the damn thing is a pain but once it's running it's worth the hassle.
It's cool that the car gets a lot of attention from people when I'm using it in public. I think a lot of people see RC cars as mostly being sluggish, electric toys, yet when they see a fuel car roaring away they look pretty impressed.
I'm amazed that such a little thing can produce so much power. I showed my mate the car today and he was impressed by how fast it goes. Plus, at the moment the car has all basic parts, so I'm looking forward to improving the car as time goes by.
I've already purchased the heavy-duty differential gears in preparation for the eventual demise of the standard ones. As I'm running the car I can hear a definite clicking noise. I'm sure it's coming from the differentials. Can anyone shed some light?
