You could easily strap a 1-2 lb weight over CG and create a more stable aircraft for windy days and IMAC flights. And simply strap it off for ballzout 3D...
I'm not sure if strapping weight over the cg will have the same effect as weight evenly distributed over the entire aircraft, when it comes to stabilizing a plane in windy conditions. It will however definately increase your stall speed.
