I am really interested in seeing the answer to this one. Ithink I have more than 3 speeds, but I am just guessing based on the differnt pitches of sound that I can get from the motors. It looks like ther are not enough contacts on the PC boad for the throttle to make 6 or 8 speeds, but I don't know a whole lot about that part of electronics.


If the newer TXs do have only 3 speeds, do the RXs have only 3 too? Or, could I use an old TX on a new plane and still get full throttle control?

By the way, I was happy to find the new Helix at Costco for $46 last night. Unfortunatley, my wife only let me get one and I have to wait for Christmas to try it out.
