Yeah,
But she doesn't deliver the goods on Saturday like Fedex.
Sadly, Fedex refuses to ever deliver on Saturday for me.

My primary reason for avoiding Fedex is that even when goods are NOT sent ""signature required", they refuse to ever leave the goods despite me having a signed release form on file. As a result, anything sent Fedex to me always ends up getting sent back to the sender when Fedex finds out that 3 successive attempts to deliver fail because (unlike UPS, who are very accomodating) Fedex will only ever deliver at times while I am at work. Pretty darn useless, really.
You can always find out where your local FedEx station is and have your packages noted by the shippers to be held at that station for your pick-up. You will be able to pick up on Saturday too. A little more inconvenient than delivery to the door but not terrible.
Why won't they deliver on Saturday to you?
Dunno why they won't deliver on Sat.

I've tried the "I'll pick it up from the Fedex office" option in the past - but given the location and traffic it's a 45 minute drive each way to the pick-up office, then typically a 45 minute to 1 hr wait for them to get their act together and find the package. If I really wanted to spend 2 to 3 hrs on picking something up, I'd usually just go to the store to buy it, rather than paying for home delivery that never happens.

Just doesn't work for me, so I stick with UPS. In approximately 14 years worth of pretty solid mail-ordering (usually 5 or 6 packages per week), UPS has only ever screwed up once for me. YMMV based on where you live, I guess, but for me BROWN is still a prefered option.
