Dan - Its what we call a pusher and not an EDF. The plane is easy to launch and can fly slow, landings can be slow too. I heard about some people flying them in large gyms so I tried mine out on the air field, flying small figure 8s, it can fly in small circles and decently slow.

I got the FJ and you can go with the following:

ESC - any cheap 30A ESC will be fine, I used most cheap CHina made ones like from HiModel or Tower Pro and they work fine, only issue is the cut off, it can be abrupt but before that happens you will feel the loss of power.

Motor - any 20mm - 25 mm can inrunner of about 2,600 KV (for fun flying) or 3,200 KV for speed flying. Examples are like the Himax 2025, something in that dimension will be fine for the FJ

Servo - anything like the E Sky or GWS Naro will do fine for the FJ.

RX - get anything that is meant for full sized planes, stay away from the GWS NARO RX! Get the GWS 8 channel RX, the slim one if you like as the plane has tons of space. The plane can get a little tail heavy so no worries about slightly larger RX.

Batt - anything that can handle about 30A continous ... maybe a Flight Power 2150 mAh 3S packs, something like that. If you need anymore help just holler (send me a PM or email)
