I am not sure what the different TLT kits are nor the differences in the kits. I know that all the kits require atleast minor mods to make them a capable crawler. As far as wanting a tuber... Definitely start with a TVP chassis first, it is much easier to change suspension geometry(drill another hole) than on a tuber (make new mounts). My maxx crawler is going on the back burner for the next month or so because of the holidays... I only have 1 more travel-free weekend before Christmas [:@]
