Morning, all. I'm trying to decide on a mini/micro heli. It'll be my first heli, but I want something I can grow with without having to spend a buttload of money to do fun things with it. I have been putting in countless hours on G3.5, and I can hover decently in any orientation (including inverted), so I think I'm ready for the real thing
I want something small enough I can practice hovering in a large garage, but something big enough that it won't get blown around madly in light winds. I'd also like to be able to purchase and use my own radio and power equipment. I'll prolly be going brushless and LiPo's so I can use the charger and radio with my fixed-wing gear.
I've been looking at the Trex 450XL eCCPM, E-Flite Blade CP Pro, and a few others, but being a relative heli n00b, it's tough to determine what the real differences are among them.
Any advice is appreciated!
Thanks,
-Joe
