Make no mistake about it, the Kobra is NOT going to fly anything like a "lightly loaded trainer". The plane builds fairly heavy, thus the wing loading is high as is the landing speed. That is not to say it's hard to fly. To the contrary, it is remarkably stable! It just will not float or slow down like a trainer (or most other sport planes for that matter). It has great wind penetration characteristics... what does that tell you? It really is a great airplane. ...kinda starting to want another one now...
