Craig, The fuel you're running should be fine. I would switch to the recommended Glow Plug.

But before you do any of that, check your low end needle. Several Evo's (Especially the PTS version) slipped out of the factory with impropper low-end needle adjustments.

Here's the proceedure:

Remove the blue collar from the low-end needle

Open the throttle barrel to 1 millimeter

Completely close the low-end needle - then open it 1 1/5 (One and one fifth) turns.

Replace the blue collar


Now you are in the right ball park. If, when you closed the needle, it closed a good amount more or less than 1 1/5 turns, that may have been the problem.
