On another note, I swapped out the tail feathers on my oldest bipe last night.
Is the tail rudder you made taller than the original? If so cut it down until it
flies better in a turn- or make the stab longer.
Also maybe the added weight of the thicker tail messed up the planes CG.
Add a bit of weight to the nose. Sounds like the rudder though.
