powerlines - Thanks for the update. I'm going to speculate that what
might also be happening is that the jack on the inside of the Tx is
spaced in too far....
DiscoWings - There is a version w/o a controller. It works w/ G3 out of
the box. My recommendation is to get the one w/ the controller for
smooth sailing (less setup time). Here's more info:
I have the G2/G3 controller. How can I use that with FS One? (Q1009-FS1)

CessnaFan - With the FS One installation, the small scaled down
airplanes do have the breakable parts turned off. The reason is that
these small parts can sometimes go unstable. This only happens w/ the
small-ish planes (e.g. wingspans ~15 inches or less). For larger
planes, we did not turn off breakable parts.
The Scaling Wizard works like this. Step one is to make edits to the
basic airplane using all the menus except the last two that are the
"Scaling" menus. So you can take a baseline airplane and change the
weight from say 5 lbs to 8 lbs. As long as you do no scaling (using the
"Scaling" menus), then you get an 8 lb airplane like you'd expect. If
however you then enter the "Scaling" menus and change the size from the
original 100% to 130%, then the 8 lb weight that you set is scaled up
accordingly. So in effect there are two knobs on the weight - the first
one you set, and the second ("Scaling") is figured out for you if you
use the "autoscaling" on the weight in the "Scaling" menu. I know this
will sound like "Greek" to anyone w/o FS One. Sorry about that.
Crater Meistro - That's right what you said: "FSOne will create a copy
of that model of which I can tweak rather than messing with (or messing
up) the original." Again, I'm recommending the one w/ the Tx (this goes
double for people just starting out).
