I have a hpi rs43 basiccally the same as the evo but I have the os18 cvr and it drifts well no matter what kind of tires I put on it but I agree ABS is the best of both worlds. I do not have the stage D kit. They have started a drift track at my LHS and most of the guy's drift with the associated team kit and have the os tz engine with ABS tires. they say this kit comes with most of the features that yo would upgrade to. I am no guru but any nitro 4wd nitro car will drift just watch your engine temps. It is in the tires that you choose that compliment your driving style
