I'm looking forward to hearing about your maiden. I recently purchased the edge combo with the SPE 26cc and am anxious to get it in the air. Keep us posted on your progress and give all the details about how it flies, how the SPE feels, etc.

Since I'll be flying on a DX7 I'm thinking about using just one battery for both receiver and ignition to keep the weight down. With DSM RF shouldn't be an issue and since I fly at an altitude of 3600ft I'm gonna need all the weight savings I can get with the SPE 26 I think. I'm really anxious to hear your impression of the motor. BTW, what prop are you going to be using?
