Thats right! There is a difference, in the cars drivetrain. Unless you got covers over all your belts then considder them toast.. I have a belt drifter, and I have replaced all my belts a few times this summer ( 3 - tm17's and 2 - sp53's) and it wasnt easy to do with an obsolete 8 year old car.. I know that the e-drifter cars have the same issue with rocks and other debris, but consider the burnt nitro fuel residue that covers all the belts, and the dust and other road crap that builds up on them, it kills them fast. In a stright line, belts are fine, but as soon as its sideways, smoke covers the car and everything in it...
Belt drives will work, for a while, but Id hafta recommend any 4wd SHAFT drivetrain model, you wont regret it.
I havent used my Tamaya e-drifter since I got my spider... I love the realism that nitro brings to scale drifting, makes it much more enjoyable, and everyone stops to watch, too sweet!
