I don't know if this is a problem specific to my computer or what else might be going on, but I have a 3.06 ghz Pentium 4 processor with 1.5 gb RAM and a 256 mb Nvidia 6800GT, but when I turn on turbulent wind, the simulation lags. I run the simulation with everything at the default settings (high) and at 1280x1024 resolution (full screen). I know I could turn the graphics down to solve the problem, but from reading others' posts, it would seem that it shouldn't be necessary. I have an Audigy ZS sound card, and if I turn hardware acceleration up then the visuals go smoothly, even with wind, but there is the already known sound bug to contend with....any suggestions?
