Ok guys, so what makes it a sport plane rather than a speed plane (other than it might fly better than a brick at less than 100mph). It looks streamlined, it's light, it's small for its engine size, the wing is thin and tapers, so it should be low drag.
I bet it rips the pants of my (now demised) Tigershark, which was just a triangular flat sheet and therefore probably had horrible drag characteristics.
The only draggy bit that I can spot on the "fast forward" is the aeleron hinge gap which allows quite generous (+/- 45 deg movement).
Maybe true speed machines are the ones that don't flutter to pieces at full chat, I guess only time will tell.
