Hi Roger
Weight of the wing is about 700 g. If we add 120 g of Oracover and about 120 g of servo weight will be between 930 and 950 g. So it's similar with foam wing with light balsa core 1,5 mm.
Stab is light. Weight is 140 g (2 x 70 g) and carbone tubes is 10 g. I have not the weight of the differents parts of the fuse (only weight of fuse already built) . But an estimation of total weight of the plane equiped for exemple with yam is about 4700 g.
My friend prefers to paint on glass fiber and époxy resin. He is Hiro from Starcraft who sais us he uses Silk and talc.
See link of hows'to paint Austar !
