Thanks for the comments guys. Very helpful. After a couple of hours working on it yesterday, I have tgotten the batteries for the Rx out as well as the gas tank. Everything seems to be going along rather well at this point. I even found the instructions surprise surprise. Next step is a trip to the hobby shop for new parts. Note to self: Write a note to self with what parts I need.
