Seriously, now, I haven't been able to fly outside for days because of the weather, but I have some data: The DD tail motor does draw a bit more current and some folks are wondering about shortened flight times. I mostly fly a 1320 mAh lipo, and I just timed a pack. From plug-in to soft cut-off was 16 minutes (7:57 to 8:13) or 15 to be conservative. All in Idle-up, hovering, swooping, bouncing, flying as hard as I could in the living room space, to try to load the system as much as possible.
15-16 minutes. I needed a shower and a beverage when I was finished.
Then I saw (didn't see?) Dave's cloaked BCPP, and there went my evening.
