Default RE: timing mode and pwm

Go to rcgroups.com in the power systems forum and look for a thread called "Coution..." (Caution spelled wrong) and contains some other mention in the title about Tower Pro ESCs. Guys on the thread decipher the manual for several of their ESCs. The manual is wrong or there are several versions out at least for the 30 amp ESC. My original instructions had a PWM setting but it didn't exist on my ESC and might not on yours. To set the timing you go by the number of poles on the motor. Most outrunners are around 7 to 9 poles and will use the 7 degrees setting. As for PWM setting, if your unit does have that try to set it to what the PWM is on the 30 amp ESC's fixed setting or use another ESC as a guide to set the number. Most use the same general PWM number.
