the engine will always be tight/lock up when new it says this in the dvd. if its locking up thats telling you its flooded take the glow plug off put a cloth over the heatsink and give it a few pulls. put the glow plug back in and try from there. if its still locking up try warming the engine up before use ie a hairdryer. good luck bud

Turn the truck upside down when you have the glow plug out and give it a few pulls, you should get the fuel out of the motor that way.
What if the pull-start still locks up after trying this? Any other things that might be causing the locking up?
Should there be any resistance when pulling on the pull-starter?
