Default RE: Official HPI MT2 Thread

the only purple clutch shoes i,ve seen were on the savage and that wasnt stock shoes, the mt2 shoes are black stock
ORIGINAL: djheptic

how would i know if my clutch shoes are worn. i wouldnt be able to accelerate if they where warn down though right? i can accelerate slow to fast and when i get to a certain speed i just loose all power and it wont go any faster, i have lost about 70%power. im sure when i changed my clutch bell ages ago my clutch shoes where purple, now they are black lol

That won't be the problem. Something has to be slipping somewhere. Might want to check the clutch bell and clutch shoes? They could be glazed over or worn?

Also, more teeth on the spur gives you more acceleration, less teeth on the spur give you more top end.

ive done everything you said 46u and all seems to be fine. could it be because ive added the tsais nitro devil pipe so its giving me more perfromance so i need more teeth on my spur gear?
