the plate can be soldered in place with a 125/250 watt iron and circuit board solder (thin. rosin core) done many of em
the thin solder self tins rapidly and by making one pass around the hole it fills
Should you remove a choke or throttle plate -of course-- always use a red Locktite to set the screws - the factory people do this -or on some types they swedge the end of the screw
I have not had to solder up choke on any current model ZDZ- earlier ones -it could help in cases where cold fuel draw was poor.
