A while ago, I had to patch up the white covering on my avistar. I use a small piece of standard white monokote from a roll. I noticed that the avistar's "monokote" was actually thicker and less transparent than the standard monokote. I have a feeling that econokote was used in the arf, rather than standard monokote. I am still trying to get some thickness comparison info. If it is econokote, the working temperature for covering is less. FWIW......
