Default RE: Purple Brushless Electric Ultimate BiPe

I flew it today with a 9x6E prop.

The plane was nice and fast with this, flying constant level at about 35-40% throttle.

I did note a LOT of torque however as I kept trimming the ailerons throughout the flight.

The small wings of the BiPE may be coming into play.

I'm using the Tower Pro ESC that is rated at 15A continuous 25A burst.

The ESC was warm, approaching HOT, one of my batteries got very warm, indicating that I was reaching the battery's maximum draw. Another identical pack stayed cool throughout the flight...

I'm going to order higher draw batteries for this plane... (check out the ones on NP's web page, they are pretty good for the price, I have four of them which I use for my Super Sportster EP in a 3S2P configuration... 4400mAh...).

I brought the plane in after 12 minutes on each 2000mAh pack today, as I did not know when the cutoff would kick in... I haven't timed the duration yet.
