Make-it-yourself Fuel
I bought a sealed 5 gal bucket of methanol, 2 qts of Sig castor, 3 qts of Klotz KL200. All total it was $49.00. After mixing I will have 6 gals of fuel and the price will be just over $8.00 per gal. My LHS sure won't sell me fuel for that much!! I save old fuel jugs and store them tightly closed and out of the sun light after filling. It may be a little more hassle, but it's well worth it and I know for sure what the oil content and quality of my fuel is. Not to mention the savings. I also haven't had any problem running it in any engine I have, besides...I'm not racing, just Sunday flying, so I don't need the nitro anyway. Just my 2cents.
