I know this post has been here a while, but maybe you will read my reply anyway. I started out in glow fuel planes (previous experience with hobby zone electric products) with a P-51 Mustang PTS (Progressive Trainer System) made by Hangar-9. This plane has been in several pieces since i crashed it about 6 months ago, I have recently gotten a Hobbico Superstar high wing trainer. If you must get a mustang the PTS is the way to go... BUT BEWARE Many people, all the experienced pilots i know of anyway say that the PTS is a decent plane, but not necessarily a good trainer. What i am trying to say is that i wish i had not jumpped in like i did, it would have saved me some money in the long run. Keep in mind that i am not an experienced pilot ive been flying glow fuel for about 10 months so this is all just a beginners opinion
