RE: Full size sailing
sabots and windmills to the teen years, then multihulls (mostly hobies) through to the late twenties. an occassional turn as tactics dude on monohulls, aka: slow boats, and now dinghy sailing a self built bolger gypsy. RC sailing is still the most relaxing thing to do without getting wet or stepping a mast. my daughter (Stanford student, PROUD DAD) and i have 3 victorias and a ketch rigged fairwind. and now i am building a pair of footy's (feet?) for us when she returns to the gulf coast on break. an office mate and i are having a friendly wager on a footy race and the SMALLEST rc sailboat you can build... submicro servos, spit shot for ballast, and an inflatable pool with an ocsillating fan as a race course.
