It comes with landing gear but I'm not using it. I land in tall grass in a farm field and it just gets tangled and flipps the planes. I got mine painted without the power system. and orderer the brushless system they offered. The plane is solid foam with a molded in suport styructure of stiff plastic. It comes in four major components two necells, stabalizerand, wings / fusalage. The cowls and necell covers are vaccuum formed plastic and seam to be sturdy. I have only put together 4 foam kits (gws f4u,two hobby lobby p-51s, artech christen eagle ) and a scratch built stryker but this is by far the best built kit I've seen. Its also built far better than my two park zone warbirds.
BTW the plne itself was $89 or so and the power system two brushless motors with esc's was $99
and they got it to me in 4 days! The only glue that was involved was the motor mounts, I epoxied them for some added strength. I can't wait for spring to fly this baby ( not to self move to warmer state!)
