Default YS 110 problems. Help!!!!

[&o] Nothing is more frustrating than an engine that won't run properly. My 110 ran fine until I adjusted the valves after 2hrs of running. I made the adjustments because it semed to have a slight loss of rpms on the top end. Otherwise everything was fine; very dependable. After the adjustments (.002) things began to crater on the low end. I had to make several dead stick landing with my P-40, which is NOT cool. The engine would die after lowering the throttle for landing setup. I cleaned the regulator and needle jets resulting in some improvement occassionally but still not as good as it was at one time. The total run time to date is approximately 3 hrs. I finally installed an on board glow but the first time I flew it with the on board glow, the engine ran strangly and had a porposing rpms change at the low speed setting. I discovered I had forgot to remove tissue paper from the carb that was placed to keep foriegn matters out of the carb while working on the airframe. After removing the tissue I was able to get the los end somewhat normal but the high end seem to be lean ( strange sound ) and I don't want to force it.
I have removed the engine from the plane until I can get some answers or get it serviced.
What do you recommend?
I love the awsome power, easy starts and awsome sound.
One other thing; At one time I could flip the prop over 10 times with the trottle opened, lower the throttle to idle, connect the star battery and back flip the prop one time and it would start everytime. Now I have to use an electric start most of the time. Something has changed. I want to keep this engine but my patience is getting thin.
Help me please.
