Default covering slowpoke

I am ready to cover my .25 GP slowpoke. I was wondering how do you cover a fuse like this? I have covered a box style fuse, but the tapered, rounded fuse is another thing. Do you cover the bottom half of the fuse seperate from the top with two pieces.
I am doing the fuse in one color
The stab and fin are covered after assembly and can't be taken off to cover areas between the two. Suggestions would be helpful.
