I do hope that you're not going to use it again on the newly repaired plane. If the receiver has been involved in a crash it should be sent in for service prior to putting it in a plane to fly. A crash is a pretty violent event and can do lots of damage to receivers. Sending it in for service is cheap insurance to guard against another crash caused by radio failure.
