If you go with the stick, reinforce the LG area, the plane is built very light.
Although I wouldn't recommend moving into the high dollar giant scale stuff for a second plane, an aerobatic plane is a fine second plane...depending on how you are flying the trainer. If your trainer has a flat bottomed wing I would go with the stick, if it symmetrical or semi-symetrical, a 60 size midwing aerobat is nice.
My second plane was an extra 230.
