Default 46 Size Warbirds - FAST & LOUD!

So, here's the deal, I have a Saito 125 that is looking for a home in a warbird. It really wants to go fast (it is already loud) but a 60 size ARF like the H9 stuff doesn't seem like it would cut it for speed. However, I could be wrong.

I have read the threads about folks putting YS 110's in 46 size warbirds and thought I could do the same with my 125. Now for some advise please. Does anyone have any experience with putting engines that should never be put in small planes in the CMP P-51-50, P-40-50, or the Dymond Bearcat (I am following Rare Bear's progress closely)? BTW, I am not afraid of kit bashing.

Also, I see where folks are using World Models warbirds but I can't seem to find a good place to buy them. Not a lot on the web about them.

And, before someone says that I am being irresponsible and should always follow the manufacture's recommendations let me say this: When I am at work I fly with safety as my number one priority. I got into this hobby so I could let my hair hang down and experiment a little with aviation. I don't think my passengers would like for me to do that with them on board. And neither would my company. Nor the FAA. And most certainly not my wife. OK, I'm off my soapbox.

Thanks yall
