A mate of mine bought an ASP/Sanye 180 from PeakModel and even though it got a bit dinged in the post, it sure runs sweet.
I'm a Saito man through and through -- but it's hard to argue that the ASP/Sanye (at least from Peak) sure has an unbeatable bang for your buck rating.
He's got it in a World Models FunWorld 3D which weighs in at around 10.5lbs and the 180 with a 17x6 Volk prop hovers that baby at around half throttle with more than adequate pull-out when using 10% nitro fuel.
I think one of these in the PeakModel Edge would be a rocket!
I'm getting more and more tempted by the day -- it's just the near certainty that the postman would deliver me a box of smashed balsa and a dented engine that stops me hitting they "buy" button :-(
Xjet,
don't worry. Now Peakmodel have an extra strong and thick carton box to ship overseas. Is as hard and safe as a wooden box. Just ask them to pack your model and your engine also into that heavy cardboard, and buy confident. Maybe Peakmodel can ask you few bucks more for the shipment due to the added weight, but this packing is bullet proof. Even if the postman use your airplane as a chair, nothing can happen.
Bye.
