I am very sure it is normal mode that is causing the slow rate. HH mode swings the tail a lot faster. I can reduce gain and reduce overtravel at the expense of a less locked tail. Reducing gain in normal mode speeds it up, but doesn't hold as well. So far, my sluggish DF4 tail is faster than my DF36. I am also on the bottom of head speed, I could raise it from 2300 to 2500. I just don't trust those foam blades yet. I see a lot of Trex people running theirs at 2800 to 3000 +.
I was looking at some CF Trex tail blades, but didn't see any dimension specs.
