I realise that shipping to other parts of the world seems fine -- but I've yet to receive *anything* out of China that hasn't been damaged in some way or another, regardless of the amount of packaging used.

And, as I said earlier, the postal service managed to damage an *engine* for goodness sakes! Hell, I can pile an engine into the deck from 100 feet and it suffers less damage than this one received while in the care of the postal service! What are they doing with this stuff?

My first purchase from PeakModel was really dinged around (an EP Katana RTF) and although they replaced the transmitter (the sticks got broken), the plane itself required a bit of repairing and still has bits of torn/dented covering because it's just not worth returning. From the time I ordered it to the time I was able to fly it was quite a few weeks, what with waiting for stuff to be replaced etc. To their credit, Peak were very good about replacing the transmitter -- but it's still a major hassle having to wait more than a month -- especially when our flying season seems to get shorter every year.

I'll just wait until someone else around here orders one to see if theirs makes it through unscathed :-)
