Try leaving about 1/4 throttle on. When it gets to about 6 in, off the ground pull the elevator back about 1/4 stick to flair it. I say 'about' because every plane is a bit different. If it doesn't want to come down then try 1/8 throttle. Play with it a bit in this respect. Once you find these settings they will pretty well keep these characteristics. Your next plane may have completely different characteristics. They're like people they all have their own personalities That's why I never get bored with them.
