MVVS .45 needle settings?
No prob. The spec sheet says 1.2mm (.050") out from the nut, or the distance between the idle needles outer portion that screws over the threads, to the retaining nut...But that can vary a little. If you need it I can check the actual # of turns mine is out, but, if you've got feeler gages, just measure .050" out after turning it all the way in. And yeah, alcohol will work fine...If you can, use a fuel bulb, or just hook up a length of fuel line and blow thru it to see if there's any crud in there. Are you using muffler pressure? That helps a lot, and some engines won't run w/o it! What plane is it in? Is the tank center-line about level w/ the needle valve? What about the plug? Sometimes the most obvious problems are the ones that get over-looked. Got a good starting batt.? I hope this helps cuz I'm runnin out of things, ya know?! Maybe someone else will "chime in" and notice something else we missed...
