yes that is the stock mount in the above pic.

allthread is a threaded rod that you can get at any home depot type store, get either 6-32 or 8-32 size, then cut it to length(they come in approx 3ft lengths) and put a slot in the end for a screwdriver and you can screw it in for a snug fit (with epoxy all over it) just make sure that when you drill the holes you stay clear of the LG mount screws, (look at above pic)
Thanks for the clarification. I think I have some threaded rod in the garage.

My U can was on the front step when I got home today. I haven't opened the box yet. I had to go pick up a Raptor 30 heli.

I was flying the Ucan on my FMS simulator last night and it sure likes to float. This thing flat spins almost as easy as the spa3d does.
