Yes flaperons work but on most planes with large flight controls you can get the plane to loop so tight it will snap out so there's really no point
I have a magic 3d and use a touch of spoileron to kill the lift making it much nicer to land in the wind, and since it has a flat bottom wing it makes it much better inverted too
just experiment with it that's what makes the hobby fun trying new stuff that's haw a started using spoilers on the magic I dicided to see what it would do and now the plane is even more fun to fly
