Default RE: KA-450H...Any Experience With It?

Dug up a little more info on this new motor. All this is based on a 3 cell lipo and no gearbox with an average of 10V input...

4.75x4.75 APC E...Projected around 95mph and unloads to roughly 26-28 amps in the air...

4.5x4.1 APC E...390 grams of thrust (13.75 ounces), 24500 RPM, 22.1 amps, 221 watts, 1.8 thrust g/w, 95.1 MPH pitch speed...

I'll probably try both of these prop sizes. There are others on the chart but my limiting factor is a 30 amp ESC. Should have no problem powering it with a 20C 2200ma 3 cell lipo. And, check out this one I might try...

4.75x5.5 APC E on a 3 cell...371 grams of thrust (12.75 ounces), 20940 RPM, 20.9 amps, 209 watts, 1.7 thrust g/w, 109.1 MPH pitch speed...

Truth be known this motor is kind'a scaring me. Never wanted to go as fast as possible at any cost but now, since there isn't much "cost" for this motor, I may have to try it on the Stryker to compare to the 12T. Then again, I may throw it on a homemade foamie jet of some sort. From what I've read thus far it also appears to be a very versatile motor that can handle a large window of speeds and torque by using direct drive or a gearbox. One direct drive chart portion lists over 30 ounces of thrust at 69mph with a 5.7x3 APC E prop at an amp draw of roughly 25.3 amps. Some guys are even using it on TRex choppers with great results.

Since I'm not an expert on brushless motors by any means I'd still like to hear some feedback from those who are more in the know. How do you think it compares to the Mega and other "high end" motors out there?
